\nWe worship in a relatively traditional style\u2014with a masterful pipe organ and full chancel choir. But, we love all kinds of music<\/a>\u2014 contemporary songs accompanied by piano, African music accompanied by drums, children\u2019s vocal and carillon (handbell) choirs can be heard here.<\/p>\n

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.<\/p>\n

Bible Study<\/a>\u00a0meets weekly on\u00a0Sunday mornings after Worship<\/strong><\/em>.
\nThemes change throughout the year, from specific books of the Bible,
\nto the history of the New Testament.<\/p>\n

We meet on\u00a0Sundays at 11:30am<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0Library (or the Wesley Lounge)<\/a>.

\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n
**<\/span>Adult Sunday School is not currently meeting.**<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Adult Sunday School class meets at 8:50am Sunday mornings<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 The meeting format is a video presentation followed by discussion.\u00a0 The class concludes in time for the 10am worship service<\/a>.<\/del>
\nDrop-ins are always welcome.<\/em><\/strong><\/del><\/p>\n

The Adult Sunday School class was studying\u00a0 The Lives of Great Christians<\/a>, a Teaching Company course taught by Dr. William Cook from the State University of New York. \u00a0His focus is on the great practitioners of the Christian faith with more emphasis on their lives than on their writings.<\/p>\n

The first lecture is called What Makes a Great Christian?<\/em> .\u00a0 This lecture \u201cdiscusses the difficulties for Christians in ascertaining how to follow Jesus today.\u00a0 Scripture in translation may not accurately convey Jesus\u2019 works and thoughts, and without that guidance, it\u2019s hard to find our own paths.\u201d\u00a0 Thus begins our look at some of Christianity’s luminaries.<\/p>\n

Please join in at 8:50am Sunday mornings <\/strong><\/em>in the Fireside Room<\/a>.\u00a0 Come for coffee, tea and conversation.\u00a0 You are always welcome to join in<\/em> \u2013 no preparation is required, and there is no homework!\u00a0 Each video session is usually 20-30 minutes which allows for discussion time after.
\nThe video starts at 9am<\/em>.
\nClass is over in time for the 10:00<\/span><\/span> worship service.
