Midweek Message – 27 May 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Campbell UMC Family & Friends –<\/span><\/p>\n

I pray you hear this word \u2014
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 you are not alone.<\/span><\/em>
\nI have been reflecting on the ways we are reminded \u2014 again and again \u2014 that faith
\nwas never meant to be lived alone.<\/p>\n

A Moment to Pause
\n<\/u><\/span>Before you continue reading, pause for just a moment.
\nTake one slow breath. \"\"<\/p>\n

Notice the chair beneath you.
\nNotice the sounds surrounding you.
\nNotice that even in this moment,  you are not alone.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Spirit of God continues to move among us \u2014
\nthrough kindness,
\nthrough prayer,
\nthrough compassion,
\nthrough ordinary people who continue showing up for one another even in difficult times.<\/p>\n

You are not alone.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Love Moves Toward
\n<\/u><\/span>This Sunday<\/a>, we will reflect on Matthew 28:16\u201320 through a message titled \u201cNever Alone on the Journey.\u201d<\/em>
\nIn this passage, Jesus sends the disciples into the world with a promise that still echoes across generations:
\n\u201cI am with you always.\u201d On Trinity Sunday, we remember that God\u2019s very nature is relational. The Trinity reminds us that love is never stagnant.<\/p>\n

Love moves toward.
\nLove accompanies.
\nLove remains present.<\/p>\n

In a world that can often feel fragmented, hurried, exhausted, and isolating, this reminder matters deeply. We are invited not only to believe in God\u2019s presence, but also to embody it \u2014 through compassion, connection, courage, hospitality, prayer, and hope.<\/p>\n

One of the holiest things we can do is remind another person that they do not walk alone.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

As a congregation, may we continue becoming a community that reflects that kind of presence to one another and to the world around us.<\/p>\n

A Practice for the Week
\n<\/u><\/span>Reach out to one person this week simply to remind them: \u201cYou are not alone.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

No fixing.
\nNo solving.
\nJust presence.<\/p>\n

A Faithful Invitation<\/u><\/span>
\nAs always, I invite you to pray \u2014 pray for one another, pray for Campbell UMC, and pray for our world, that we might remain faithful to this moment and attentive to the movement of the Spirit among us.<\/p>\n

I also encourage you to invite someone<\/a> to join us for worship this Sunday, whether in person or online.
\nSometimes a simple invitation can become a reminder that another person is seen, welcomed, and loved.<\/p>\n

I pray you have a wonderful week ahead. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.<\/p>\n
