Sunday Mornings<\/strong><\/h3>\n

10:00 am in the Sanctuary<\/strong>
\nWe worship in the Sanctuary
\n(and stream live<\/a> on Facebook & YouTube)
\nWe worship in a traditional style\u2014with a masterful pipe organ and full chancel choir. But, we love all kinds of music<\/a>\u2014 more contemporary songs accompanied by piano, African music accompanied by drums, children\u2019s vocal choirs, and four levels of carillon (handbell) choirs can be heard here.<\/p>\n

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.<\/p>\n

Adults and children begin in worship together. About 10-15 minutes in, children (pre-school through high school age) are invited to come to the front for a child-friendly message and prayer, and then go to Sunday School in our adjoining Education Building.
\nThere is a sound-protected room at the rear of the Sanctuary for young children who want to stay with their families in worship and who want to move around a little!<\/p>\n

Hearing assistance<\/a> is available.
\nWorship is fully accessible.<\/p>\n

Dress: You will find here people in suits and ties, people in jeans and shorts, and people in traditional African dress. Come in clothes that are comfortable to you.<\/p>\n

Sunday School<\/strong><\/a>
\nSunday school classes are available for children ages 3-18 on Sunday mornings. Children are invited to join their parents for the first few minutes of the 10:00 am worship, and then follow their teachers into age level classes<\/a> that are fun and engaging.<\/p>\n

Child Care<\/a> for Infants and Young Children<\/del>
\n(not yet available)<\/strong>
\nQuality child care in a clean, well-equipped nursery is available during the worship service. Parents may be kept in touch by cell phone call or text message if their child needs them during the service. When you come to the Sanctuary on Sunday morning, a greeter or usher can direct you to the nursery.<\/del>
\nAll church-sponsored events have childcare available upon request.<\/del>\u00a0 Contact\u00a0ChildCare@campbellunited.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Adult Education<\/a> – 8:50am in the Fireside Room<\/del> – currently on hiatus<\/strong>
\nMeeting prior to the 10am service, across the courtyard from the Sanctuary; this is an opportunity for thoughtful discussion about matters of faith and theology.<\/p>\n

Sundays for Youth<\/a><\/strong>
\nMiddle school and high school age youth come to worship at 10am. After the “Word for Children,” early in the service, youth are invited to a Sunday School class (middle school or high school) or to remain in worship.<\/p>\n

Coffee hour and Fellowship (as of July 2021, outdoors in the courtyard)
\n<\/strong>After worship (~ 11am), we have coffee and treats in the Fellowship Hall, across the<\/del> courtyard from the Sanctuary<\/del>.\u00a0 We often have cake (!) to celebrate special occasions and periodically host pot-lucks, luncheons, and bbqs<\/del>.<\/p>\n

4th and 5th Grade Fun Times
\n<\/strong>Meeting twice a month on Sundays from 11:30am to 1pm, this group offers fourth and fifth graders the chance to get to know their peers in a fun and easygoing environment. Play games, make cookies, do service projects, and make new friends!\u00a0 \u00a0See the Youth Group Page<\/a> for more details, and contact\u00a04th5thYouth@campbellunited.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Youth Group for 6th \u2013 12th graders<\/strong>
\nMeeting on Sundays from 11:30 to 1pm, this program offers a wonderful chance for youth in grades 6-12 to practice\u00a0leadership, engage in community service, get to know each other, and have a great time. It\u2019s a wonderful time and place to meet new people, make lifetime friends and contribute to the community!\u00a0 For more, see the Youth Group Page<\/a> and contact youth@campbellunited.org<\/a><\/p>\n
