Easter comes somewhat early this year, and therefore, so does the season of Lent. We’ll begin our spiritual journey to Easter with an Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 22nd, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
“For Love:” A Benefit Concert for ‘Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence’
The San Jose Peace Chorale joins with other local choirs on Saturday, February 25th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Campbell UMC Sanctuary, hosting their 2nd annual Benefit Concert for Next Door Solutions.
Lenten Spiritual Study Group for Women
Women of the church are invited to participate in a Lenten spiritual study group starting Tuesday, February 21st, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Library.
Women’s Service Club Spring Luncheon
The Women’s Service Club of Campbell will host their annual Spring Luncheon on Saturday, March 17th, 2012. All are welcome to come and help celebrate GOING GREEN FOR SPRING! Wonderful Silent Auction baskets will be available for viewing and bidding, beginning at 11:30 a.m, with luncheon being served at noon.

LENTEN WORSHIP SERVICES: Developed around the them of “Embracing Faith for Lent.” Begins Sunday, Feb. 26 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
SOUP AND STUDY EVENTS: A simple meal, a look at a contemporary social challenge, and Holy Communion, will challenge and change your life. Begins Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room.
UNITED METHODIST 101: A class for all persons interested in membership at Campbell UMC, and others interested in exploring basic Christian beliefs. Begins Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room.
BIBLE CONVERSATIONS WITH PASTOR JIM: Lunch-time conversations that will include a brief presentation by Pastor Jim on “How to Read the Bible,” discussion of your questions about the Bible, and brown-bag fellowship. Begins Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 12:00 p.m. in the Library.
